Chennai, Apr 10 (IBNS): They may be the rivals on the cricket field but after the conclusion of high-voltage Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Tuesday, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni were spotted together in a light mood.

Following the match in which Chennai defeated Khan's co-owned Kolkata Knight Riders, the Bollywood superstar was seen smiling while interacting with Dhoni.

The picture was shared by Chennai Super Kings, which were defeated by Kolkata in the 2012 IPL final, in their official Twitter handle.

On the cricket field, Kolkata suffered a setback as they were defeated by Chennai by seven wickets.

Chasing a low target of 109, Chennai took 17.2 overs to win the match.

Khan, however, did not forget to take a selfie while leaving Chennai with a heavy heart.

The actor tweeted, "Thought while waiting to go back home to Mumbai....I should for no reason do a Chennai Selfie...so..bye Chennai & all the wonderful friends I met from the film industry & of course the sporting crowd at the stadium. Whistle Podu!!"
