Sania Mirza makes 'good' start to 2016 by winning Brisbane title

Brisbane, Jan 10 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza said she made a 'good' start to her career in 2016 with her doubles partner Martina Hingis as the duo clinched the Brisbane title on Saturday.

"Brisbane - Title number - #SanTina @mhingis So good to start where we left off onto Sydney next ," Sania tweeted.

The Indo-Swiss pair defeated  German wildcards Angelique Kerber and Andrea Petkovic  7-5 6-1 in straight sets to win the title.

After this victory, Sania and Martina extended their streak to 26 matches.

This was their 10th title victory together.
