Singapore, Oct 30 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza and her doubles partner Martina Hingis reached the semi-final of the WTA Finals here on Friday.

The Indo-Swiss pair defeated Hungarian-French fourth seeds Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic to reach the last four round.

They defeated the opponent team by 6-4, 7-5.

The match lasted for 90 minutes.

"We had played them twice before and we were 1-all, so we knew we had to come out and play well, like we've been trying to do every match here at the WTA Finals," Mirza was quoted as saying to wtatennis.com.

The pair extended their winning streak to 20 matches in a row.
