Saina Nehwal in Australian Open final

Sydney, June 11 (IBNS) : India's shuttle queen Saina Nehwal on Saturday entered the final of Australian Open Badminton tournament in Sydney breezing past fourth seed Yihan Wang of China in straight games , 21-8, 21-12, reports said.

This was Saina's 5th win over Yihan, world number two in women's singles in their 16th encounter. 

 Saina will play for the title on Sunday against Yu Sun of China.


Earlier in the day, Kidambi Srikanth crashed out of the tournament  losing to Hans-Kristian Vittinghus of Denmark, 20-22, 13-21 in men's semi-final.
