Roll Ball WC: Assam girl Alisha Farheen selected to Indian team

Guwahati:  Assam girl Alisha Farheen has been selected to the Indian team for the  6th Roll Ball World Cup to be held on Pune.

The event will be held from Apr 21-26.

Assam Roll Ball Association wrote on Facebook: "Today is the best day for the Assam Roll Ball Association , one of our senior girls Alisha Farheen selected for the INDIA team for the 6th World Cup and Anurag Basfor Listed standby in the men category. The World Cup will be held at Pune from 21st - 26th April, 2023. Alisha is presently studying at Jorhat Agriculture University. We Assam Roll Ball Association wishing her great success for the World Cup birth."

Alisha Farheen who hails from Abhayapuri in Bongaigaon district of Assam is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. Alisha has been playing roll ball from the last 10 years since her school days, The Assam Tribune reported.
