Rohit Sharma slammed online over his captaincy after India fail to defend 208 against Australia

Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma received flak from a section of netizens after the men-in-blue had to swallow a defeat in the hands of Australia even after setting a target over 200 in 20 overs in the first T20I Tuesday.

Chasing a huge target of 209, Australia scored 211/6 in 19.4 overs.

Cameron Green's 30-ball 61 in the top order and a quick unbeaten 45 by Mathhew Wade made the job easier for the Aussies.

Despite Axar Patel's three wickets, the men-in-blue were beaten by the yellow brigade in the death overs.

One Twitter user said, "When India lost under Virat. captaincy fault .remove captain,worst cap etc.. When India lost under Roshit captaincy - Bowlers fault That's vadapav fans for you."
