Rohit Sharma hits century, India in strong position against South Africa in first Test

Visakhapatnam: Rohit Sharma grabbed the opportunity to open in Test cricket with both hands as he slammed a century in the first match against South Africa here on Wednesday.

Until the play was stopped due to rain, Rohit was batting at 115 off 174 balls. He has hit 12 fours and 5 sixes.

India are yet to lose a wicket as they have already scored 202 in 59.1 overs.

Mayank Agarwal is still not out at 84.

India had won the toss and elected to bat first.
