Tendulkar said he wants to see the nation transform into a 'healthy and fit India'.

"Our fitness sessions are declining while our food sessions are on the rise, we should change this habit," he said.

He said: "We need to transform India from a sport loving nation to a sport playing nation."

He also highlighted the troubles of diabetes and obesity problem faced by India.

He also appreciated north-east part of India for its sporting culture.

The former Indian captain said :"The North-East of India, which has only 4 per cent population of India, has a vibrant sporting culture.”

Tendulkar also captioned the video as: "It is my endeavour to transform India from being a sport loving nation to a sport playing nation. I urge you all to participate in this effort and help make my dream, our dream. Always remember, dreams do come true! Jai Hind."
