Nikita Biswas is the Winner of the 36th Taj Bengal Golf Trophy 2017
It was a two-day tournament and the finale was on the February 8, 2017. The Winner of the tournament is Nikita Biswas with a net score of 130, 1st Runner-up is Sheena Rawla with a net score of 133 and the 2nd Runner-up is Sonia Burman with a net score of 134.
The best gross prize is given to Geetika Ahuja with gross score 157.
Nikita Biswas, the winner of the tournament shared her experience of the competition and said, “It’s been an overwhelming experience. More than anything else, I will take away from here the many friends that I have made during the two-day competition, they have inspired me a lot. I love playing the Taj Bengal Trophy every year and this is my first win”.
Samrat Dutta, General Manager, Taj Bengal, said, “ I congratulate the winners and all other ladies who participated in the 36th Taj Bengal Golf trophy. I am very glad to announce that it has been a successful event and women from all age groups participated in one of the most talked about Golf events in the city. The Taj Bengal Trophy for Ladies is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the city. Started in the year 1981, the tournament always boasts of an exciting line up of Kolkata’s top women golfers.
