Mumbai/IBNS: New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first against India in the third and final Test match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday.

New Zealand have made two changes to their side.

Ish Sodhi replaced Mitchell Santner who got a bit of side strain while fit Matt Henry came in for Tim Southee.

For India, Mohammed Siraj came in replacing Jasprit Bumrah, who is not well.

Bumrah has been rested so that he remains fully fit for the India-Australia series beginning next month, a report by The Indian Express said.

In the three-match Test series, New Zealand have already taken an unbeatable 2-0 lead over India.

In this context, Bumrah has been allowed to return to his home in Ahmedabad.
