Narendra Modi meets Vaibhav Suryavanshi, calls him 'young cricketing sensation'

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met IPL sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi in Patna during his two-day visit to Bihar.

Modi shared images of the meeting on X.

Modi described Vaibhav as 'young cricketing sensation'.

Sharing the images, he wrote on X: "At Patna airport, met the young cricketing sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi and his family. His cricketing skills are being admired all over the nation! My best wishes to him for his future endeavours."

He plays for Bihar in domestic cricket and Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.

As a left-handed batsman, he made his first-class debut in January 2024.

He is the youngest Indian List A debutant and the youngest to debut in the Indian Premier League.
