MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina to play against each other in upcoming IPL

Mumbai, Dec 15 (IBNS): Indian ODI and T20 skipper MS Dhoni and his Chennai Super Kings teammate Suresh Raina will be seen competing against each other in the upcoming IPL as they were selected in two new teams that will feature in the next edition of the cash-rich tournament.

The VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 Player Draft concluded successfully on Tuesday at Mumbai. The two new IPL Franchises selected 5 players each for their new team.

Here is the complete list of players who were picked in the player draft.

Team Pune: MS Dhoni, Ajinkya Rahane, Ravichandran Ashwin, Steven Smith and Faf du Plessis.

Team Rajkot: Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, Brendon McCullum, James Faulkner and Dwayne Bravo.

"Both the teams have exhausted INR 39 crores from the total salary purse of INR 66 crores available to them," the IPL said in a statement.
