Kolkata, July 9 (IBNS): Kolkata's football giant Mohun Bagan on Wednesday announced the signing of Cameroon forward Pierre Boya as their marquee player for the 2014-2015 football season.

The footballer will be the third foreign recruit for the club in the upcoming season.

"This striker was engaged with FC Kukesi in the Albanian Superliga. Before playing for FC Kukesi the player has represented various clubs in the European circuit including FK Partizan, popularly known as Partizan Belgrade, the club which plays in the Serbian Superliga. During his stay with FK Partizan, the player represented the Team in the 2004-05 UEFA Cup group stage, and also scored both Partizan goals to clinch a 2-2 away draw against Italian Club Lazio," the club website said.

The footballer had the Cameroon national team in four international matches.
