Lok Sabha Polls: Voting this year was 'special' for Sachin Tendulkar, shares the reason with fans on social media

Mumbai, Apr 29 (IBNS): Indian sports icon Sachin Tendulkar exercised his franchise with his wife Anjali and children Sara and Arjun as India voted in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha polls on Monday.

Sara and Arjun voted for the first time, Sachin said.

Sachin said this fact that his children exercised their franchise for the time made this year's voting 'special' for him.

Sachin tweeted: "Voting this year has been so much more special with Sara and Arjun voting for the first time. I urge you all to go out and VOTE too!#LokSabhaElections#GotInked@ECISVEEP pic.twitter.com/stUpabsZsg."

The fourth phase of Lok Sabha votes is taking place on Monday.

India is witnessing seven phase polling this year.

The last phase of voting will take place on May 19.

Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
