Leander, Martina clinch French Open title

Paris, June 3 (IBNS) Indian Tennis icon Leander Paes and his mixed doubles partner Martina Hingis beat another Indian Sania Mirza and her partner Ivan Dodig to clinch French Open title here on Friday.

Leander and Martina beat their opponents 4-6,6-4.10-8.


The final match lasted for one hour and 28 minutes.

This was the 18th grand slam victory for Paes. He extended his mixed doubles grand slam win to 10.

Hingis grabbed her 22nd grand slam title.
