Kulkarni to replace injured Kumar

Mumbai, Dec 11 (IBNS): Dhawal Kulkarni has been asked to join the Indian team which is currently touring in Australia as a replacement for pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Kumar has an ankle injury and will return to India to undergo a rehabilitation program.

"Bhuvneshwar Kumar will rejoin the Indian team for the Test series in Australia, as soon as he recovers and is declared fit," BCCI Secretary Sanjay Patel said in a statement.
