J&K Sports Council, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina sign MoU to nurture budding talent in UT

Jammu/UNI: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council on Tuesday entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with cricketer Suresh Raina's Cricket Academy to nurture budding talent across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

To tap immense sports potential and to realise vision of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of making J&K a Centre of Sporting Excellence, J&K Sports Council on Tuesday entered into a MoU with Suresh Raina Cricket Academy to develop budding cricketers to national and international level.

Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam, Principal Secretary to LG Nitishwar Kumar, Secretary Sports J&K Sarmad Hafeez, Secretary J&K Sports Council, Naseem Choudhary and Cricketer Suresh Raina were present on the occasion.

LG Sinha observed that the MoU will provide an opportunity to budding cricketers to hone their skills and showcase talent in various levels of national and international competitive tournaments.
