Zurich, Aug 27 (IBNS) The official emblem for the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2015 was unveiled on Aug 24 at the headquarters of the Japan Football Association (JFA) by Kuniya Daini, President of JFA and Chairman of the Local Organising Committee.

“With Japan hosting this important tournament for the seventh time, we are thrilled to see the new excitement and enthusiasm that this year’s FIFA Club World Cup will bring to the nation,” said Daini. “It is an honour to reveal the emblem that reflects the unique beauty of Japan and the spirit of hospitality, which are essential to the success of the event.”

The official emblem represents the qualities of Japan utilising the recognisable shape of the Official Trophy of the FIFA Club World Cup as a canvas. As one of the most iconic images of the host nation, the majestic Mount Fuji is featured at the very centre of the emblem.

Inspired by the traditional “Shodo” calligraphy, the silhouette of the globe on the top is shaped by distinctive features, providing a vibrant element that aims to reflect the sun and the well-known Japanese hospitality and solidarity.
