New Delhi, May 27 (IBNS) David Warner scored an unbeaten 93 runs here on Friday to help his side Sunrisers Hyderabad overcome Gujarat Lions challenge, thus reaching the finals of the ongoing IPL.

The SRH will face RCB in Bangalore on Sunday in the mega final.

Chasing 163 runs, the Sunrisers Hyderabad had a poor start, losing Shikhar Dhawan (0) early, but David Warner (93) starred in a couple of partnership to help his team through.

Warner played 58 balls, hitting three sixes and 11 fours. He was adjudged the Player of the match.

Warner forged a 27-run partnership with Moises Henriques (11) for the second wicket and another 28-run partnership with Yuvraj Singh (8) before a flurry of wickets had them struggling.

Deepak Hooda (4) and Ben Cutting (8) departed early, but a calculated innings from Bipul Sharma (27), where he forged a 46-run partnership with his skipper, sealed the deal for his side.

Sharma smacked three sixes in his 11-ball innings.

Winning the toss and deciding to bowl first, the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers kept the Gujarat Lions at 162 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

The SRH bowling line up sans Mustafizur Rahman stated off well, picking up two wickets up front.

Eklavya Dwivedi (5) and Suresh Raina (1) fell cheap, but a 44-run partnership for the third wicket between Brendon McCullum (32) and Dinesh Karthick (26) steadied the innings.

The Lions lost momentum again mid-match after losing three wickets in quick succession.

Aaron Finch played saviour by scoring a half century and harboring his team along the way.

Finch's knock of 50 runs came off 32 balls, seven of which were hit for boundaries. The Australian also smacked a couple of sixes.

Dwayne Bravo's late surge, where he scored 20 off 10 balls, hitting four boundaries, helped his team go past the 160 mark.
