Kolkata/IBNS: Inspired after good response in the Shree Cement Weekly Bridge Competition for Pairs Event, West Bengal Bridge Association (WBBA) will now be hosting quarterly Shree Cement Bridge Championship for Team Event where all the top Indian players will be seen in action.

WBBA secretary Debasish Roy on Thursday informed that the team event for the first quarter would be held during Nov 12 to 14.

Like Pairs Event, it would also be held online but once in three months.

Beside Asiad Gold Medalists Shivnath De and Pransb Bardhan, all the members of the Indian national team, namely Sumit Mukherjee, Jaggi Sivdasani, Kyzad Anklesaria, Sundeep Thakral and Debabrata Mukherjee will stake their claim for top honours in this quarterly meet.

Apart from Shree Cement awards to be given by WBBA, the winners would also get Bridge

Federation of India (BFI) Master Points as per BFI guidelines.
