Indian Cricket Team to tour Sri Lanka for a three-Test series next month

Mumbai, July 9 (IBNS) India will play three Tests against Sri Lanka in August -September 2015, officials confirmed on Thursday.

"The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and Sri Lanka Cricket would like to confirm the schedule of India’s tour to Sri Lanka in August-September 2015. The tour will start with a three-day warm-up game against Sri Lanka Chairman's XI, followed by three Test matches," the BCCI said in a statement.

The Test matches will be played at Galle, Tamil Union Oval, and SSC Colombo.  

Schedule is given below: 


August  3 Arrival in Colombo

August  6 to 8 Three day match - R.Premadasa Intl Cri Stadium

August 12 to 16 1st Test @ Galle

 August 20 to 24  2nd Test @ Tamil Union [Oval], Colombo

Aug / Sep 28 to 1st 3rd Test @ SSC, Colombo

September 2 Departure to India
