Harbhajan Singh gearing up to play IPL for CSK, meets new colleagues

Chennai, Mar 23 (IBNS): Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh will be playing the upcoming IPL season for Chennai Super Kings side.

On Friday, Chennai side shared an image in their Twitter page where the spinner could be seen interacting with his new colleagues.

Harbhajan and CSK players were busy with some shooting, as per the club tweet.

"Shoot day and what better than the Filter Kaapi to start it with! #WhistlePodu," CSK tweeted.

Harbhajan earlier played the cash-rich tournament for Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians are the current IPL champions.

Harbhajan will be playing the tournament by wearing the special 27 number jersey.

Sharing the image of his jersey, Singh tweeted: "27.. yes a very special number for me ! new number new journey .. let the party begin! #whistlepodu."

Playing for Mumbai for the past 10 years, Harbhajan had lifted the trophy in 2013, 2015 and 2017 respectively.

Mumbai released Singh in the IPL auction in January.

CSK bought him for Rs 2 Crore during the auction season.
