Exhibition match: Rest post 293/7 against Sachin's MCC

London, July 5 (IBNS):The Rest of the World XI posted 293 for seven on the scoreboard in a 50-over exhibition match against Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at Lord's here on Saturday.

Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar, who quit cricket last year, is captaining the MCC side.

Indian batting star Yuvraj Singh shined with his willow as he scored 132 runs off 134 balls which helped the Rest of the World XI post 293 on the scorecard.

Tendulkar, who bowled four overs and gave away 33 runs in the match, picked up Singh's wicket.

Opening batsmen- Virender Sehwag (22) and Adam Gilchrist (29)- added 54 runs in the first wicket partnership.

Former England captain Paul Collingwood (40) and

Peter Siddle  (33) made some important contributions at the end.

Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal picked up four wickets for MCC.

Shane Warne is leading the  Rest of the World XI .

The match is playing to mark the  200th anniversary of the Lord's Cricket Ground.
