Davis Cup: Djokovic to play in India

New Delhi, Sept 3 (IBNS): Serbian Tennis star Novak Djokovic will lead the side in the Davis Cup World Group playoff against India here this month, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) has said.

"World No. 1 Novak Djokovic heads the field after it was announced that he will travel to Bangalore for Serbia’s World Group play-off clash with India, while world No. 3 Roger Federer, No. 4 Stan Wawrinka, No. 6 Milos Raonic, No. 7 Tomas Berdych and No. 10 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will also all don national colours in Davis Cup action the weekend after the conclusion of the US Open," the ITF website said.

The Indian side will comprise of Somdev Devvarman, Yuki Bhambri, Saketh Myneni and
Rohan Bopanna.

The Serbian team will have names like Novak Djokovic, Dusan Lajovic, Filip Krajinovic and Nenad Zimonjic.

The match will be played in Bangalore from Sept 12 to Sept 14.
