Cricket world wishes Rishabh pant 'speedy recovery'

New Delhi: The cricketing world on Friday united to wish injured cricketer Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery.

Rishabh met with a car accident early on Friday morning near Roorkee in Uttarakhand and has been admitted to Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre where he was treated for impact injuries, BCCI said.

Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back, he said.

Former Indian captain Virat Kohli tweeted: "Get well soon@RishabhPant17. Praying for your recovery."

English cricketer Jonny Bairstow said: "Speedy recovery@RishabhPant17
never nice to see people in accidents but relieved he’s stable and at the hospital! For now I think now people should let him rest and recover in private! #RishabhPant."

Ex-Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar posted: " Wishing you a very speedy recovery @RishabhPant17 . My prayers are with you."

Former Indian women's cricketer Jhulan Goswami remarked: " Wishing a speedy recovery to @RishabPant17. Our prayers and wishes are always with you. Get well soon ."

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh said: " Shocked and Pained. Wish brother @RishabhPant17fastest recovery. The strong person I know you, I am sure you will recover from your injuries very soon & you will be back in the stadium with your trademark cricket. My prayers are with you."

Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gabhir remarked: " Wishing a very speedy & full recovery to Rishabh! Take care @RishabhPant17."

Afghanistan cricketer Rishabh Pant said: "I hope you are ok bhai praying for your quick recovery get well soon champ "

Pakistani cricketer Hassan Ali said: "I hope there's nothing serious
