'Can't wait to give my all to my favourite subject - cricket!' Delighted Shefali Verma shares marksheet after passing class 12th with 80+ % marks

Indian women's cricket team member Shafali Verma, known for her fiery batting, performed impressively in the CBSE 12th Board Exam scoring 80% plus marks.

Despite her busy cricket schedule, Shafali, who previously led the Indian side to victory in the inaugural U19 Women's World Cup, said she was happy with her performance and is now ready to give her all to her “favourite subject - cricket".

In an Instagram post, Shafali shared her delight in scoring over 80 percent marks and expressed her happiness with a beaming smile.

"2023 mei ek aur bohot special 80+ smash kiya, but iss baar 12th boards mei! I am very happy with my results and can't wait to give my all to my favourite subject - cricket!" she captioned the post.


 

On May 12, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of the class 12 board examinations.

In all 87.33% of the total students who appeared for the examination passed.

Around 16.9 lakh students appeared for the class 12 CBSE examination this year.

The examination was conducted between February 15 and April 5.

With a 90.68% pass percentage, girls have outshined boys in this year's CBSE examination.

Kerala's capital Thiruvananthapuram has recorded the highest pass percentage with 99.91%.
