Kolkata/UNI: BCCI chief and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly's daughter Sana has tested positive for Covid-19, five days after her father was discharged from a city hospital.

Family sources said besides Sana, three other members of the family -Ganguly's uncle, his cousin and a sister-in-law - were found covid-19 positive on Tuesday.

All have been in home isolation in their residence upon the doctor's advice.

Dona Ganguly, the wife of the BCCI president, was found negative after undergoing a test for the second time.

Ganguly was admitted to hospital in the last week of December for Covid positive and was discharged within five days after several tests showed he did not contract the Omicron variant, which has been in the surge in Kolkata and its surroundings.
