“We have changed the format this season and have decided to go online as most youngsters are Internet and technology savvy these days. In this way, we aim to reach out to more youngsters who have a passion for the game,” said Subrat Mohanty, Head of Marketing & Sales Quality IB, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance.

He added, “In the past few years, kids would have to travel to the locations where the trials were conducted. Some even had to take overnight journeys and miss a day or two of school-time. We therefore decided to eliminate all the hassles for the kids and make things as easy as possible. Also the comfort of registering from your own home widens the spectrum even more. This year, we aim to reach out to much more than last season’s nearly 40,000 youth.”

The Junior Football Camp is organized in association with Allianz SE, the official partner of FC Bayern Munich. The camp is held in Munich, Germany in the second week of August and gives teenagers from across the world the opportunity to meet and get trained with the legendary FC Bayern Munich coaches on the club’s official training ground. They would also get a chance to attend a match at Allianz Arena, the unique football stadium and meet football stars from FC Bayern Munich like Thomas Mueller, Bastian Schweinsteiger and others.
