Babita wins silver medal in CWG
Gold Coast, Apr 12 (IBNS): Wrestler Babita continued India's run for medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games as she clinched the silver medal in the women's 53 kilogram category on Thursday.
Babita lost 2-5 to Canada's Diana Weicker in her last round robin match which ended her hopes of clinching the gold medal.
The gold medal went to the Canadian wrestler.
The bronze medal was won by Bose Samuel of Nigeria.
Babita is one of the most celebrated Indian women wrestlers.
