Melbourne, Jan 21 (IBNS): Indian Tennis icon Leander Paes and his doubles partner Raven Klaasen of South Africa cruised to the second round of the Australian Open by beating American pair of Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram here on Wednesday .

The India-South African duo defeated their opponents 6-4, 7-6 (6).

The match lasted for 91 minutes.
