Australian Open: Leander Paes, Andre Sa defeated

Melbourne, Jan 19 (IBNS): Disheartening his fans, India's doubles specialist Leander Paes and his partner Brazilian Andre Sa were knocked out from Australian Open doubles event here on Thursday.

The Indo-Brazilian pair was defeated in the first round clash by  Treat Huey and Max Mirnyi.

They were defeated 6-4 6-7(3) 4-6.

The other Indian pair  Purav Raja and Divij Sharan were also defeated in their first round match by French team of Jonathan Eysseric and Fabrice Martin 6-7(9) 6-7(4).
