Adelaide, Mar 20 (IBNS) A tight Australian bowling restricted Pakistan to 213 runs in the third quater-finals of the World Cup here on Friday.

Bowling out Pakistan for 213 runs in 49.5 overs, Australia kept a strong chance of qualifying to the next round.

Pakistan struggled in front of some disciplined Australian bowling with Josh Hazlewood (4-35) destroying the Asian side with his devastating spell.

Pakistani batsmen struggled and lost wickets at regular intervals.

Haris Sohail remained the top scorer for Pakistan with his 41.

Misbah-ul-Haq (34), Umar Akmal (20), Sohaib Maqsood (29) and Shahid Afridi (23) failed to convert the start they got in the match.

Australia will need to score 214 runs from their 50 overs.

India and South Africa have already qualified to the semi-finals.
