Kolkata, Nov 16 (IBNS): Aircel a+ centre students got the opportunity to meet and interact with some of the most celebrated football stars of Atletico de Kolkata (ATK).
The aim of the event was to give the students living on the margins a chance to share their love of football with the players.

Aircel a+ centre, an institution has been relentlessly working to bridge the digital divide in India by providing vocational training to underprivileged students.

As ATK readies for their next match in Kolkata on November 18, some of the iconic heroes from team like Jofre Mateu González, Fikru Teferra and Subhasish Roy Chowdhury met the young students and exchanged experiences from their life and tales of their passion for football.

The students also got a rare chance to get a jersey signed by the team that will remind them of this special day forever.

Sanjeev Garg, Business Head, Kolkata & Rest of West Bengal, Aircel, said, “The students from Aircel a+ centres are highly dedicated and work tirelessly to have a better tomorrow. We’re confident that meeting their favourite players will not just add joy to their lives, but also inspire them with the take-aways from these players like building confidence, bringing discipline to work and perseverance.”

Elated by this event, one of the Aircel a+ students said, “I could never imagine such a day in my life! I am a huge fan of ATK and this day feels like a dream come true. I don’t think I’ll get sleep for the next few days.”
