Atletico de Kolkata, Peerless Hospital & BK Roy Research Centre observe World Heart Day

Kolkata, Sept 29 (IBNS) The members of Atletico de Kolkata, which is an Indian Super League football franchise, took the initiative to celebrate the power of a healthy heart at the premises of Peerless Hospital and BK Roy Research Centre here.

On the occasion of World Heart Day, Peerless Hospital and BK Roy Research Centre took the pledge to spread awareness on good habits for a healthy heart.

The hospital is the official health partner of Atletico de Kolkata, for the upcoming Indian Super League matches.

On the occasion, the team-members present took health-check-ups at the hospital, and released many red balloons into the sky, to signify and spread awareness of World Heart Day.

Sujit Kar Purkayastha, Medical & Joint Managing Director, Peerless Hospital & BK Roy Research Centre, said, “Heart disease continues to affect large sections of the population and in today’s times, more than ever, it becomes imperative to make changes in our lives to keep our hearts healthy and happy.”
