Anil Kumble,BCCI congratulate India A over Quadrangular series title victory

Mumbai, Sept 4 (IBNS): Indian senior team coach Anil Kumble and BCCI chief Anurag Thakur joined the remaining Indian cricket world in congratulating India A as they clinched the Quadrangular series title by defeating Australia A by 57 runs on Sunday.

Posting 266 runs for the loss of four wickets, Indian bowlers then finished off the task by bowling out Australia A for 209 runs.

Anil Kumble tweeted: "Congratulations Team India A for the win in Australia. Well done Team! @im_manishpandey #RahulDravid @BCCI."

The cricket board also congratulated the Indian team and posted: "Congrats! India A beat Australia A by 57 runs to win the Quadrangular one-day series #AusAvIndA #QuadrangularFinal."

BCCI chief Lt. Anurag Thakur tweeted: "Great effort 'India-A' delighted to see the performance and character of these young stars of indian cricket. @BCCI."

Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman said: "Congratulations to the India-A team on winning the quadrangular tournament in AustraliaKeep it up and Good luck for the Test Series @BCCI."
