Aktar dismisses reports of getting married

Lahore, June 7 (IBNS) Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar on Saturday dismissed reports that he has decided to marry a 17-year-old girl later this month.

Akhtar tweeted: " Wishes are always welcome BUT NOT for some crap rumour...My journalist friends,I expect sensible reporting and not rumour spreading.Thanks! "

" I would like to confirm that I'm not getting married to 17 year old girl,there is absolutely no truth in the story being reported ... .If not me,atleast respect the girl! Totally False," he said.

Akhtar made the remarks after media reports stated that the pacer will marry 17-year-old Rubab in the third week of June.
