AIFF confirms two International Friendlies in October

New Delhi, Aug 5 (IBNS): The All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Tuesday confirmed two back to back International friendlies for the Indian senior national team against recently crowned AFC Challenge Cup Champions Palestine in October 2014.

The Indian team would play Palestine on Oct 6 and Oct 9.

As per the July 2014 FIFA Rankings, Palestine stay on 85, 66 places above India who are presently lying on 151 in the FIFA Rankings.

The last time the two countries played in an International friendly in February 2013 in Kochi, Palestine beat India 4-2.
