Ahmedabad Test: Australia 75/2 at lunch on day 1 against India

Ahmedabad/IBNS: India restricted Australia to 75/2 at lunch on the first day of the fourth and last Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 here on Thursday.

Usman Khawaja (27) and Steven Smith (2) were unbeaten when the visitors went to the change room for lunch.

The two wickets fell were in the form of Travis Head (32) and Marnus Labuschagne (3).

Head and Labuschagne were dismissed by Ravichandran Ashwin and Mohammed Shami respectively.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and elected to bat first in their must-win game.

India are ahead of Australia 2-1.
