Bengali actor Ditipriya Roy featured alongside young actor Dibyojyoti Dutta in SVF's music video by Mahtim Shakib, Dekhechhi Rupshagore, which is now streaming on SVF Music's YouTube channel. In an interaction with India Blooms correspondent Souvik Ghosh, Ditipriya shares experience of her maiden music video

Q. How was your exploration in this music video?

A. It was very good actually. Anything first is always great. This is my first music video that too of Mahtim Shakib, who is a very popular singer right now, especially in our generation. It's great to feature in such a song, which we all have heard since childhood, with a spectacular storyline.

Q. How was your experience of working with Dibyojyoti, who also has a small screen background?

A. It was great because we have known each other for almost five years now. He also stays near my house. This is our first work despite knowing each other quite long.

Q. India Blooms has learnt that you had almost turned a director in managing the rainy sequence during the shoot!

A. I have this habit actually. I tend to provide guidance in case of any crisis on set. I indulge myself in this habit when I find a flexible team like this. I had to step in with some guidance as the weather was fluctuating so much.

Q. So you almost turned a saviour!

A. Yes (laughs). It was something like that (laughs).

Q. Apart from the rain sequence, any other challenge did you and your team faced during the shooting of the video?

A. The shooting was not very complicated. The subject was also easy. I guess people are loving the video and relating to it since the way of shooting was simple.

Q. How is life after television?

A. I have left television almost a year now. Since then, I have been getting opportunities in various roles where I can explore myself. So overall I am having a great experience.

Q. You are often unsparingly trolled over your educational background on social media. Do such things affect you?

A. Trollers are meant for that only. It's their job and they go with the flow to sustain. They can't go against the wind. It's a trend. Earlier, I used to get affected by the trolls because after all, we all are human beings. But now I am used to it.
