Sid Mallya spreads joy on his birthday

Mumbai, May 7 (IBNS): UB Group chairman Vijay Mallya's son Sid Mallya recently announced a digital initiative for a philanthropic cause to mark his birthday on Wednesday.

As the stylish scion turned 27 years old on Wednesday, Mallya on his birthday this year, invited his fans to post birthday wishes for him on Twitter using the hashtag #HappyBirthdaySid.

The cover photo of Mallya’s Facebook page displays a live counter that will simultaneously show the number of wishes by fans via the hashtag on Twitter. 

He decided to donate the amount corresponding to the total number of wishes received, to a cause close to his heart.

Through this unique idea, he aims to fulfill his birthday custom of making a difference and contributing to a larger cause.
