Robert Pattinson's former movie co-star Buddy Duress died due to cardiac arrest from a 'drug cocktail', his brother said.

He was 38.

Duress died of “cardiac arrest from a drug cocktail” in November 2023, his brother Christopher Stathis confirmed to People.

The actor was known for his performance in movies like Heaven Knows What, Good Time, Funny Pages, and Person to Person.

Duress was born in May 1985 in the New York City borough of Queens.

He was also part of two indie films by the Safdie Brothers’.

His first acting performance was seen in Benny and Josh Safdie's 2014 feature Heaven Knows What.

In a 2017 SSense interview, Duress shared he first met Josh in 2013 after his release from Rikers Island in New York City for drug charges, People reported.
