Mumbai/IBNS: The much-awaited trailer of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Ramayana was unveiled by the makers on Thursday, offering audiences a grand first glimpse into one of Indian cinema's most ambitious mythological adaptations.
The trailer was launched at 4:15 am IST, coinciding with Brahma Muhurat, the auspicious pre-dawn period in Hindu tradition that is considered ideal for spiritual and sacred beginnings.

Star-studded cast and makers
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced primarily by Namit Malhotra, Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, and Yash as Ravana.
Tiwari, best known for acclaimed films such as Dangal and Chhichhore, has spent several years developing the ambitious adaptation of the Hindu epic.
The film also features Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana, Vivek Oberoi as Vidyutjihva, Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari, Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi in pivotal roles.
