Makers release first song from upcoming Bengali film Belashuru

Kolkata/IBNS: Shohage Adore, the first song from upcoming Bengali film Belashuru, which is directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, was released by the makers on Tuesday.

The film’s music has been composed by Anupam Roy and Anindya Chattopadhyay.

Roy, along with Mukherjee, casts Anindya Chatterjee, Monami Ghosh, Shankar Chakraborty, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee were present at the launching event.

While talking about the song and the movie, Anupam Roy shared, "This song is very close to my heart and I am happy that team windows have released the song on my birthday. I think this was a birthday gift from them to me. Looking forward to getting the audience's reaction to the song’."

The film, which is a sequel of one of the Bengali hits Belaseshe, marks the last collaboration of Soumitra Chatterjee and Swatilekha Sengupta.

Belashuru is the story of an elderly couple Biswanath Majumdar and his wife Arati Majumdar. It revolves with the changes of relationships and bonds among a Bengali joint family.

Belashuru is slated for May 20 release.
