Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali actor Madhurima Basak, who is much active on social media, has shared online how she is spending this Saturday.

Basak shared a picture on Instagram where she writes, "Simply Saturday."

On the work front, Basak was last seen as a lead actor in Srijit Mukherji's X=Prem.

Before taking a plunge into films, Basak was a very popular face in people's drawing rooms, courtesy Bengali serials.

In an interview with India Blooms earlier, Basak had expressed her eagerness to work more on films and web series and not restrict herself to the small screens.

She had said, "... There is no scope to think differently or explore on television. But in films, a character or a story compels us to think in multiple ways.

"There is nothing to focus on but I want to explore different characters which are ample in films or web series. But I am not leaving television entirely. I will manage the working days and work."
