Gujarati actor Upendra Trivedi dies, PM condoles

Mumbai/ New Delhi, Jan 4 (IBNS): Renowned Gujarati actor of stage and cinema, Upendra Trivedi, has passed away in Mumbai.
He breathed his last on Sunday at the age of 79 after a brief illness.
 
 Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief on demise of Upendra Trivedi.
 
"An inspiring personality who won hearts both on and off the screen. Sad to hear about Shri Upendra Trivedi`s demise," the Prime Minister said.
 
He started his career in industry in the 1970's and ruled the Gujarati Cinema for more than 40 years. 
 
Trivedi is known for his brilliant performance in Gujarati play `Abhinay Samrat`.
