Grammy: Sam Smith grabs four awards

Los Angeles, Feb 9 (IBNS): British singer Sam Smith shined on the at the 57th Grammy Awards ceremony held at the Staples Center here on Sunday by bagging four top prizes.

Smith won the 'Record of the Year', 'Song of the Year', 'Best New Artist' and the 'Best Pop Vocal Album' awards.

"It was only until I started to be myself that the music started to flow and people started to listen," Smith  was quoted as saying by grammy.com.

Beyonce Knowles won three awards including the Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.
