Hollywood beauty Gal Gadot has given some hope to her fans that she might be back as 'Wonder Woman' in future under the leadership of  James Gunn and Peter Safran at DC Studios.

Gadot's future as the iconic comic character was looking gloomy after Patty Jenkins reportedly walked away from the project.

The director, though, later denied the development.

Speaking with ComicBook.com prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Gadot, however, gave some positive news about the future of the franchise as she said: "I love portraying Wonder Woman."

She said: "It's so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we're gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together."

Gadot appeared in several DC projects even after the cancellation of Wonder Woman 3.

She was seen portraying the role of the warrior princess in Shazam! Fury of the Gods and The Flash.

She was first seen as Wonder Woman in the 2016-released movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
