Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to feature in WWE Smackdown this week

Los Angeles: Hollywood superstar and wrestler Dwayne Johnson has announced he will be returning to Smackdown this week.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who has worked in several popular Hollywood movies, was last seen in the ring at WrestleMania in 2016 for a special appearance. 

However, he has not been part of the  WWE roster for over five years.

Making the announcement, Dwayne tweeted; "FINALLY...I come back home to my @WWE  universe.This FRIDAY NIGHT, I’ll return for our debut of SMACKDOWN! LIVE on@FOXTV . There’s no greater title than  thepeopleschamp. And there’s no place like home. Tequila on me after the show
#IfYaSmell #Smackdown #RocksShow #FOX."

He was last seen in Hollywood movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
