‘Bodies are beautiful’: Dakota Johnson says she'd choose ‘more nudity’ as Calvin Klein campaign sparks buzz
Los Angeles/IBNS: Hollywood star Dakota Johnson has smashed the internet with her new Calvin Klein campaign where she almost turned nude to promote the brand's spring collections of underwear and jeans.
But this is not the first time Johnson has explored the path of nudity. The popular actor had created a buzz with multiple nude and sex scenes in the 2015 film Fifty Shades of Grey and its sequels Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.
Johnson had even joked about it when her dress malfunctioned at an award ceremony. “Just broke my dress, okay, so well... it's not like anybody here hasn't already seen my boobs,” she cracked before bursting into laughter.

Against the backdrop of a similar buzz on the internet, Johnson spoke quite openly about nudity in a video interview with Calvin Klein.
Answering a list of questions, Johnson enthusiastically said she would prefer more nudity if given a choice. “Bodies are beautiful,” she replied.
The 36-year-old also chose more flirting and sexting when offered a platter of options. “So fun,” she said about flirting.
When asked about sexting, she laughed and replied, “More sexting. Why not?”
On the work front, Johnson appeared in two films last year — Splitsville and Materialists.
Among her upcoming projects is Verity, in which she will also serve as an executive producer alongside her acting role.
The actor is also set to make her directorial debut with A Tree Is Blue, an unconventional drama centred on the life of an autistic woman.

Speaking to Deadline at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, last year, Johnson shared the first details of the project, which is written by actress and writer Vanessa Burghardt.
Burghardt, who previously starred alongside Johnson in Cha Cha Real Smooth, will also play the lead role in the film, which is expected to release in 2026.
