Kolkata/IBNS: After Kriti Sanon's Hindi film 'Mimi', now Aritra Mukherjee directorial Bengali movie 'Baba, Baby, O...' starring popular actor Jisshu U Sengupta deals with the subject of surrogacy, which was captured in the trailer released on Sunday.

In the 2:43-minute trailer, Megh Roddur Chattopadhyay, played by Sengupta, informs his family about his decision to embrace fatherhood at the age of 40 through surrogacy, an idea remotely known to his parents.

From making his family understand surrogacy to the struggle as a single father, Chattopadhyay leads his life's journey till he meets Brishti Roy, who is in her 20s, played by debutant actress Solanki Roy.

Regarding the trailer launch, Sengupta, who has featured in a number of Hindi films in recent times, shared, ''This is my first Bengali movie after two and a half years.

"I am very excited and hope the snippets from the movie in the trailer will make the audience eager to see the movie on the big screen’’.

While the story and screenplay were done by Zinia Sen, dialogues were penned by Samragnee Bandyopadhyay.

Roy, a known face on Bengali television, said, "The concept of the movie is very unique and through the trailer, you will get the idea of the story.

"It was a pleasure to share the screen with my Jisshu da and I think people will like our chemistry in the movie''.

The music of the movie is scored by Amit-Ishan and popular Bangladeshi singer-songwriter Chamok Hassan.

The title song is rendered by Anindya Chattopadhyay and the list of singers include Ishan, Chamok, Sovan Ganguly and Sanchari Sengupta, the winner of Star Jalsha's Super Singer 2021.

Two of the songs from the movie have already been launched.

"What's a better way to celebrate the season of romance than by watching a powerful love story? It's a complete family entertainer, yet very intense and the trailer will give you the first glimpse of it," Mukherjee, who is known for his directorial film 'Brahma Janen Gopon Kommoti', said.

The film, which is produced by Windows, is slated for Feb 4 release.
